The eligible criteria for GNM Courses after 12th is to pass class 12th in science stream with Biology. It is a mandatory subject for GMN admission. The minimum aggregate marks should be 45%. Admissions are based on a merit system, however, some colleges accept exam scores such as CUET. GNM course fee is from around INR 50,000 to INR 2 Lakh.

Nursing Course after 12th Arts

Students who are interested in pursuing Nursing courses after 12th standard in Arts ( Humanities) can pursue Nursing Courses like Auxiliary nurse and Midwife (ANM), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Students can pursue the Auxiliary nurse and Midwife (ANM) course and internship, which can make them able to pursue a GNM diploma course later. 

GNM and ANM diplomas are the courses that can be pursued by the students from any stream. These programs can qualify individuals to pursue B.Sc. Nursing course that is generally preferred for the students of the science background with Biology related subjects. These subjects are mandatory for nursing and medical fields. 

ANM diplomas allow students to complete a nursing qualification without science streams. Students must be 12th pass with 40% minimum aggregate marks. English must be a mandatory subject in the 12th class of the candidate. Age criteria is between 17 and 35.

Nursing Course after 12th Commerce

The very same as Arts, Students passed from class 12th with commerce as a stream can pursue nursing courses as well. For that, Students need to Pursue ANM program first and then GNM that will make them eligible to pursue B.Sc. Nursing. ANM as a track to GNM allows students to gain a nursing qualification even without a science background. Students must have to complete 12th standard with 40% minimum aggregate marks. Students need to pass class 12 with English as a subject. Age criteria for these courses to pursue is to be between 17 and 35.
