Medical Courses After 12th With NEET

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS): This is a 4.5 years undergraduate program, during the courses students  will study about various subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Allied Medicine and Pediatrics etc. The common entrance exam for MBBS in India is NEET-UG student mus needed to qualify NEET entrance test for this course.  

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma): is a 4 years undergraduate course that focuses on pharmaceutical science and practice of pharmacy. The eligibility criteria for B.Pharma is requiring passing the 12th grade with Physics,Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. And the admission is based on merit in class 12th or entrance exams like GPAT,DSAT or NEET.

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS): it's a complete 5.5 year undergraduate degree course, which combines traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern medical practices.for pursuing BMAS after 12th, typically students need to have completed 12th grade with Physics,Chemistry and Biology as a core subject. 

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS): its a 5 years undergraduate program in dentistry, which includes 4 years of academic study and 1 year internship.   • Bachelor of science in Nursing (BSc Nursing): the duration of this course is 4 years, its an undergraduate program that combines theoretical and practical training, focusing on patient care, community health and healthcare management. Students get admission based on entrance exams like NEET ,AIMS and state-level exams

Medical Courses After 12th Without NEET

There are many courses offered by medical education that do not require NEET. If you are interested in healthcare and might not pass the NEET (National Eligibility Physics,Chemistry and Cum Entrance Test), which is the most required exam for such programs like MBBS, BAMS, BUMS etc. there are many programs that do not require completion of 12th grade with NEET. students can pursue some programs without NEET. 

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy: that focuses on pharmaceutical science, drug manufacturing, development and research. This course required 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the duration of this program is 4 years

  2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing: students need to complete the 10+2 with PCB(Physics,Chemistry and Biology) . It's a 4 year program that provides knowledge and skills in nursing practice, healthcare and patient care.  

  3. Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom):  Students are required to complete 10+2 with PCM or PCB with English as a subject. This is a 4-years course, where students learn about eye care, vision assessment, and correction.
